मी अनु: विरक्त मन vs आसक्त मन
Hi,I am desperately trying to locate my childhood friend who earlier lived in Bangalore and later relocated to Pune. I only have the address of her uncle Suresh Sant who lives in Vaineteya Society, Ajinkyanagar, Pune 411037. Google search and Pune directory search didn't help. Pune bloggers are my last hope. Can you please help me or at least point out in which direction I should proceed? Btw, I reside in USA.
Sorry, I forgot to add that my friend's name is Rupali Sant. She had a brother Rajeev. Also, her dad's name is Ramesh Sant. I know she is married but don't know her husband's name :-( Unfortunately, I completely lost touch with her once she moved. I really want to reconnect with even if just by email or phone. Please help!
Shri Suresh Sant's telephone number is available on the site of BSNL, Pune
Thanks very much Harekrishnaji! I found many "sant" & "suresh" at the site. Will sort through and try to find. At least this is a good start. Thanks again.
I am writing this in an utterly shocked state. I got the number and called. A lady who picked up, probably her aunt, told me that she is dead. I kept asking how, how and she said she doesn't know. She said she heard it is lung cancer but she doesn't know. She didn't want to talk much but just ended the conversation saying "hum unke saath ab rishta nahi rakhte". I am just extremely sad. I wish I had called earlier and connected with her. Even now, I feel like flying to Pune and finding out the truth.Harekrishnaji, can you please suggest what else I can do to contact her dad or brother and confirm the news? This lady was not willing to help me in any way.
I called a Ramesh Sant D in Pune, but he is not the person I am looking for. I called this Suresh Sant's number and this time he picked up. Even he said he doesn't know any of his brother/nephew's numbers and had no contact with them anymore. I am just devastated. Since I cannot find any Rajeev sant in Pune I tried to see in Mumbai(in case he moved there). But, the website - http://mumbai.mtnl.net.in/directory/individual.html doesn't show any numbers when I do a search. Can anybody help here? Thanks in advance.
I am so sorry, I also called up shri Suresh Sant and spoke to him. He told me that he read the bad news in Newspapers. And he do not have any contact with his brother. Really strange. I am not in Pune right now, maybe I will enquire around and try to find out. Meanwhile you could send email to the newspaper Sakal "www.esakal.com and find out about the news.May I know your blog profile/email so that I can write to you directly.
namaste Harikrishnaji,Thanks for taking the time to call Shri Suresh Sant. I looked at the newspaper you mentioned. It seems to be in Marathi which unfortunately I don't know. I will send them email in English and hope they respond. Do you know when her death happened, that is, which month or year at least? I forgot to ask them that as I was in complete shock. I can ask the paper staff about it if I know the approximate month or year. Btw, I don't have a blog but my email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for all the help you are doing.
namaste Harekrishnaji,I just now got an email from a Sandhya Taksale(maybe from Sakal staff) saying that the Rupali who passed away was Rupali Godse and had no connection with Bangalore. Although I am sad that this Rupali Godse passed away, at the same time it means that my friend must be alive. Can you please confirm this in any way or at least tell me where else I can look for my friend Rupali's information? Appreciate any help in this matter. Thanks!
Hey Jothi,I was looking for my friend Rupali Godse's information when I came across this website. I will really appreciate if you can let me know Sandhya Taksale's emailID so that i can contact her and ask her about Rupali. I have searched for Rupali for so long and I am really so sad and sorry and I want to talk to her brother atleast once. I will really appreciate your help. Thanks,Trupti
Hi Trupti,Please send me email to get the information you want. I want to be sure we are talking about the same Rupali. Thanks,-jyothi.
